Student (ST) permits

Includes ST, STFA, STSP permits

Virtual permit available to students, faculty, staff, visitors, vendors or contractors, and those with disabilities.

Recommended for students who commute to campus or campus housing residents who are not eligible for a CH permit.

Allows parking in:

  • Any ST space: Please note that certain ST locations do not allow for overnight parking. Refer to the ST parking zone list below to identify lots marked as "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMITTED."
  • 24-hour CH spaces from 5 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday
  • After 5 p.m. (M-F) and all day Saturday and Sunday
    • Any non-24-hour EMP, EMS, or ST space
    • Henderson, Atwater, East, Forrest Avenue, and Fee Lane garages (no overnight parking allowed), unless otherwise posted. Poplars is excluded from free weekend and evening parking.

*overnight parking is not permitted in any garage

When parking in the below lots, be sure you are in the ST zone section.

Additional ST parking is available on campus at specific times in other parking zones. 

If you are using ST zones near Memorial Stadium and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, restrictions apply when the Hoosiers are playing a home football, or men’s or women's basketball game.
