Life can be unpredictable, but we’re here to help you get home.
Because accidents happen
If you lock your keys in your car, run out of gas, or have a dead battery while parked on university property, help is just one phone call away.
From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday–Friday, just call us at 812-855-9849 and ask for Motorist Assistance. Service is not provided during university holidays or weekends.
This service is free up to three times per academic year and is $40 for each additional call.
IU students, faculty, staff, and visitors conducting legitimate business on campus are eligible. The vehicle must be properly parked in a lawful parking space and display a valid parking permit, if required. We do not service motorcycles or scooters.
Please note that we do not provide towing or aid to motorcycles, scooters, or vehicles in an off-campus location.
The program assists with basic services like:
- Dead batteries
- Flat tires
- Empty gas tanks
- Keys locked in the vehicle
