IU Bloomington parking garages

IU operates five parking garages on campus: Henderson Garage, Atwater Garage, Fee Lane Garage, Forrest Ave Garage, and East Garage. East Garage is gateless.

Overnight parking is permitted only for vehicles displaying a valid EM-P permit or another permit specifically authorized for 24-hour parking in that garage. Vehicles parked without an eligible permit before garages open at 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, are subject to citation.

Parking is free from 6 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday, unless otherwise posted. EM-P permit holders may access parking garages at no charge most of the time. The Fee Lane and Forrest Avenue garages will require payment during home football games on Saturdays, including from those with valid IU parking permits.

Accepted payment methods at gated garages include CrimsonCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Cash is not accepted, except at East Garage payment kiosks. Payment options for gateless garages vary by location.

Parking Rate: $3 per 60-minute increment
Clearance: (lower deck only): 8'-2" at entrance. (7'-0" toward the south end EM-S parking.)
Parking Permissions: Upper Deck: EM-S zoned parking, paid visitor.
- The lower deck is zoned EMP parking and follows enforcement hours of all zoned lots

Fee Lane Parking Garage

Poplars Parking Garage

The Poplars Parking Garage, located near campus, is now primarily a residential garage and does not accept IU parking permits. It offers 41 ParkMobile visitor spaces, including three ADA-accessible spaces.

SRSC Lot

Rates at the SRSC Lot are the same as gated garage rates.

The two-hour SRSC rule: SRSC patrons receive two hours of free parking only when exiting with a validated ticket. Ask for parking ticket validation inside the SRSC before leaving the building.

Vehicles exiting after more than two hours or without a validated ticket will be charged. Only credit cards are accepted for payment.
