Spring Garage Parking Permit Sale
Unlike previous years, there will be no auction. All permits will be sold for the spring semester for $250. The sale will begin at 12 midnight on January 25.
Thirty (30) permits will be available at each of the following garages:
- Henderson
- Atwater
- Fee Lane
- East (upper level only)
- Poplars
Parking on Campus During the Intersession
Please note where you may park or leave your vehicle on campus. All vehicles parked on campus must continue to display a valid permit or they may be cited and towed at the owner's expense.
Daily Parking
Vehicles displaying a valid ST, CH, or EM permit may park in any non-reserved space from November 21, 2020 through February 7, 2021. Any vehicle that remains parked without a valid permit will be cited and towed at the owner's expense.
Garage and Overnight/Storage Parking
Garage parking is available for $150* and requires the purchase of a garage permit at the Parking Operations office located in the Henderson garage. These are valid November 15, 2020 through February 1, 2021. Overnight/storage parking is available only on the upper levels in non-EMP spaces at the Henderson garage, Poplars garage, Fee Lane garage, and Atwater garage Overnight/storage parking is not permitted in the East garage.
Fall-only and Spring-only permits (ST, CH, EMP or EMS).
Fall-only permits are valid through January 17, 2021.
Spring permits go on sale online December 1, 2020 and must be purchased to avoid the vehicle being cited for improper parking after January 17, 2021. The spring permit is not required to be displayed on the vehicle during the intersession. All vehicles with a valid fall only or spring only permit may park in any CH zone, Gate 11 of the Purple lot** at the stadium, or ST zones on Jordan Avenue.
ST Annual or CH Permits
Vehicles with a valid ST annual or CH permit may remain parked in any CH zone Gate 11 of the Purple lot** at the stadium, or ST zones on Jordan Avenue.
Evening and Evening Fall Permits
These permits are not valid before 5 p.m.
ATHL ST Permits
ATHL ST permits are only valid in authorized athletic lots.
*The garage permit rate will be prorated for any current IU permit holder.
**Long-term storage in the stadium lots is only available at Gate 11 of the Purple Lot. Enter the lot from the 45/46 Bypass. Daily parking will continue to be available in other ST lots outside of scheduled game day enforcement periods for football and men's basketball.
Game Day Parking
Use of student permits for the athletic lots (north of 17th Street and adjacent to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium, as well as lot 227 on 17th Street) is limited during home games. All vehicles must be removed by 6 p.m. the day before home football and men's basketball games. Any vehicle remaining may be ticketed and towed.
Parking permits for parking at the stadium during football and men's basketball games must be purchased through the IU Athletics ticket office.
Event parking fees will be collected at lots adjacent to or near Skjodt Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
Football
All vehicles must be removed by 6 p.m. the day before home football and men's basketball games. Any vehicle remaining may be ticketed and towed.
Vehicles—with or without a permit—may park in the CH spaces every weekend from 5 p.m. Friday until 11 p.m. Sunday, unless posted otherwise.
Men's Basketball
Monday to FridayVehicles with a valid CH or ST permit may park without paying a event parking fee when entering these lots before 5 p.m.:
- Purple Lot via Gates 9 and 10: OVERNIGHT PARKING AVAILABLE
- White Lot via Gate 8: NO OVERNIGHT PARKING
An event parking fee will be charged to all permit holders entering after 5 p.m.
Saturday and SundayUnless posted otherwise, from 5 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday, vehicles with a valid CH or ST permit may remain parked in the White or Purple lots, or in any CH space.
An event parking fee for all permit holders will be applicable beginning three hours before the scheduled tip off.
