Parking and residence hall opening: During the move-in period in August, we have made some adjustments to ease the process for new residents.
Vehicles should be moved from the CH parking lots around the residence halls by 10 p.m. nightly through Thursday, August 20. Overnight parking will be available in the White and Purple Lots located west and north of Memorial Stadium.
CH permits will not be valid until Friday, August 21.
Enforcement in the CH lots and garages will begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 24.
June 15: The Parking Operations office in the Henderson Street Garage has resumed regular business hours.
Parking enforcement, and garage and parking meter operations will resume on Monday, July 6.

License Plate Recognition (LPR) Testing
This month, IU Bloomington Parking Operations will begin evaluating new License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement technology.
Student and Evening Permits
Student (ST) and Evening permits are available for purchase online and will be mailed to the student's local (IU/Bloomington) address, which must be entered when purchasing. Stadium lot enforcement begins September 1 (minimum ST permit required for parking).
Rent a bike locker to protect your bike from inclement weather and theft. Enclosed bike lockers are available for any student to rent for $25 per academic year.
Three feet bicycle passing law goes into effect July 1
Motorists are required to give at least three feet of clearance when passing bicyclist in Indiana. See the Indiana General Assembly website for more information. * (See External Links Notification below)
