Most citations are issued for parking without the correct permit or violating posted parking restrictions.

**Citation circumvented means placing a previous ticket on a vehicle to avoid getting a citation.
Student citations transfer to the Office of the Bursar on the 15th day after they are issued. Once a citation has been transferred to the Bursar, it can no longer be appealed. Once transferred, the citation will appear as $0 in the Parking Operations system, but it must be paid through the bursar account.
Unpaid non-student citations may result in:
Vehicles parked in restricted or hazardous areas, or vehicles with repeated violations, may be towed or immobilized. Additional towing, storage, and boot-removal fees may apply.
