CH Virtual Permits
Allowed parking with CH permit:
- CH Zone – Your designated CH area, at all times
- ST Spaces – Any ST (Student) space at all times
- After 5 p.m. (Mon–Fri) & All Day (Sat–Sun):
- Any non-24-hour EM-P, EM-S, or ST space
- Campus Parking garages (but no overnight parking allowed)
Not allowed:
- 24-hour spaces (EM-P, EM-S or Numbered Reserved spaces) at any time
- Overnight parking in garages
- Overnight in any lot signed for no overnight parking
- In the East Garage on Special Event nights unless paying the event rate
- Parking with plate not facing the drive lane
How to Park in Garage Gates after 5pm using CrimsonCard

Physical CrimsonCard:
- Hold the barcode up to the scanner at the gate.
CrimsonCard (via IU Mobile App):
- Open the IU Mobile App.
- Tap CrimsonCard.
- Your card image will appear.
- Scan the barcode on the image at the gate.
Important: The digital card in Apple or Google Wallet does NOT work for garage access—it doesn’t have a barcode. Always use the IU Mobile App version.

A: No. Only one vehicle can be registered to your permit at a time. Only that vehicle is authorized to park on campus.

A: Log into the parking portal and update your vehicle info immediately to avoid citations.
Q: What happens if I enter my plate incorrectly?
A: Incorrect plate entries may result in a citation. Always double-check your plate before submitting.
